Diatonic Scales

Welcome to Diatonic Scales :) I find it good to practice the Diatonic Scales in the order of the
Circle of Fifths it really is how things move in music theory and it is good to train your ear to the sound of things moving in fifths and fourths.

All the Diatonic Scales training videos below are in the same order as the
Circle of Fifths. Starting on the C Major Scale and ascending by fifths (clockwise) C Major, D Major, A Major, E Major, B Major, F# Major and C# Major. Starting back at C Major and descending by fourths (counter clockwise) C Major, F Major , Bb Major, Eb Major, Ab Major, Db Major, Gb, and Cb Major.

I've used numbers instead of note names on the pianos on the Diatonic Scale videos. There are only 7 notes in a scale numbered 1 thru 7 as shown in the Diatonic Scale videos the notes can be the tonic or root of 7
Diatonic Chords that can be used to play any song in any key! please have a look at diatonic harmony to see my 7 chord finger shapes on guitar to play any song in any key video also to learn more about the music theory numbers system please have a look at my Diatonic Harmony chart here.
